EDU 373 - Teaching Social Studies in the Secondary School

The student will create instructional plans in history, the social sciences, and interdisciplinary topics such as multicultural and controversial issues, with an emphasis on concepts, skills, and values. Clear goals, selected materials, and a variety of methods and assessments will be used in the development of a unit. 5 hours of field experience required.
