BIO 240 - Animal Science

An overview of animal science useful for students interested in agriculture or veterinary animal care. Topics include human-animal interactions, breeding and genetics, parasites and disease, and anatomy and physiology of reproduction, digestion, growth and aging in companion and production animals. Three lecture and three laboratory hours per week. Lab fee. Three lecture and three laboratory hours per week.
