GER 175 - Aging and Therapeutic Relationships

The purpose of this course is for students to gain knowledge and skills needed for the development of therapeutic relationships with older adult. Interpersonal communication and interviewing skills needed for developing relationships with older adults are integral components of this course. Critical thinking, ethical practices, and empowerment skills are also emphasized.
