About YourPace
Established by the University of Maine at Presque Isle in 2017, YourPace is a personalized learning model that allows busy students to progress through the program at their own speed with no set class meeting times or weekly deadlines. Developed by faculty who understand the challenges busy adults face when balancing work, family, and school, YourPace is delivered on a digital platform and is completely online and asynchronous. The competency-based online degree programs available through YourPace are designed to leverage previous knowledge and experience as students complete course modules aligned with a list of competencies. Students advance through the course modules by demonstrating mastery of the content-ensuring they understand the content thoroughly, learn the 21st century skills and expertise employers seek, and secure a timely and affordable pathway to degree completion.

UMPI partners with other institutions to assist in course delivery and degree completion through our YourPace modality. The student will complete all coursework through the YourPace platform, and will be supported by both institutions along their academic journey. Please note: the diploma will be awarded by the partnerning institution upon completion of course and degree requirements for the chosen program of study.
