MLT 200 - Clinical Immunology3 credits Topics include: Introduction to the fundamental principles of the immune system and its components, covering innate and adaptive immunity, complement, cytokines, antigens and MHC, immunoglobulins, hypersensitivity, autoimmunity, immunodeficiency, transplantation, infectious disease, immunization and vaccines, and essential immunologic principles and procedures, with an emphasis on correlating abnormal findings to disease states.
