MAT 231 - Calculus III4 credits This course extends calculus to functions of multiple variables in three-dimensional Euclidean spaces. Topics include vector operations, partial derivatives, optimization techniques, multiple integrals in various coordinate systems, and vector calculus with applications in differential topology and geometry. Students apply these concepts to solve problems involving areas, volumes, centers of mass, and partial differential equations. When Offered: Any semester
