HTY 184 - Zombies in American Popular Culture3 credits This course examines the African origins of Voodoo Zombies, their entrance into American popular culture and their transformation into today’s flesh eaters. Topics context include American and Caribbean slavery, American Imperialism, the Cold War and fear of pandemics.
