EDU 152 - Introduction to Education

3 credits
A study of the psychological, sociological, and historical foundations of education and an examination of current educational trends, policies, and programs. Areas of study include teaching as a career, educational aspects of diversity, multiple intelligences and teaching strategies, forms of assessment, proficiency-based education, and an introduction to state and national standards. 20 hours of field experience required.
