SOC 303 - Race, Class, and Power3 credits A sociological analysis of structured inequality in the United States. Analyzes political, economic, and social power structures, and the nature and extent of inequality (based on race, gender, class, ethnicity, sexuality, etc.) across North America. Topics include institutionalized forms of domination such as racism, classism, sexism, and colonialism, as well as reactions to them. Prerequisite(s): SOC 100
