SED 370 - Teaching Reading and Writing to Students with Special Needs3 credits
A course designed to assist prospective elementary and middle-level teachers in acquiring competencies to assess the reading and writing needs of the learner, identify appropriate intervention programs, and evaluate reading and writing achievement for the exceptional student in the regular classroom. Special focus on the science of reading as it relates to instruction of exceptional learners.
