BUS 441 - Business Innovations

3 credits
Business Innovations explores the principles, strategies, and processes involved in fostering and managing innovation within organizations. The course focuses on developing a deep understanding of innovation theories, methods, and tools, as well as the implementation of innovation initiatives to drive organizational growth and competitive advantage. Much of the course will focus on understanding elements of Six Sigma, although other elements associated with Kaizen, 5S, lean and JIT will also be discussed. Through a combination of theoretical frameworks, case studies, and practical exercises, students will learn how to identify market opportunities, generate innovative ideas, and develop effective strategies to bring those ideas to fruition.
