Federal Taxation l is an in-depth examination of the United States Income Tax Code’s principles and practices applicable to individuals. Students will examine the various types of income, deductions, and credits available to individuals. An emphasis will be placed on the sole proprietorship form of business and how it impacts an individual’s income tax liability. Tax compliance requirements and ethical considerations in tax practice will also be reviewed.
