ART 315 - Women in Art3 credits Women in Art is an upper-level seminar designed to explore the contributions, challenges, and narratives of women artists throughout history and in contemporary contexts. Through Socratic-style discussions, students will critically engage with texts and a variety of historical and modern works. The course examines feminist perspectives in art history, intersectionality, contemporary conceptual and performance art, and the role of women artists of color in shaping the art world.
