ART 314 - Art of the Near and Far East

3 credits
This course delves into the artistic traditions of specific regions within the Near and Far East, including China, Japan, India, Persia, and the Middle East. Through research, lecture, and discussion, students will explore how historical events, cultural exchanges, philosophical, and religious beliefs have shaped the art of these regions from ancient times to the present.
When Offered: Spring, Odd Years Studio fee
