Contemporary Art critically examines global art practices, challenging the dominance of the Western canon. Students will explore diverse artistic art making processes, emerging artists, and current trends. Through analysis, research, and discussion, the course will foster a deeper understanding of aesthetic, cultural, social, and political contexts shaping contemporary art.
