Mission and Outcomes
- Students will be able to understand the principles underlying the various branches of mathematics and recognize their interrelationships.
- Students will be able to present clear and rigorous proofs.
- Students will be able to independently read and understand mathematical articles or texts up to a beginning graduate level.
In addition to the major requirements, all Bachelor’s candidates must complete the General Education Curriculum requirements.
