SWK 315 - Social Work Practice I3 credits The first of three practice classes, students acquire entry level skills such as interpersonal communication skills, interviewing, data collection, documentation, dealing with ethical dilemmas necessary for beginning generalist social work practice. Critical thinking and self-exploration are integral components of coursework. Diversity, empowerment and a strengths perspective in relation to the individual system emphasized. Prerequisite(s): Admission into the BSW program required, SWK 396A
