ENV 301 - Climate Change3 credits This course provides the background to better understand global climate change and its implications for the environment and human societies. Scientific evidence of past climate conditions, with emphasis on the geological record of the Quaternary period. Basic oceanic, atmospheric, and glacial systems and feedbacks controlling global temperatures will be examined. Prerequisite(s): A passing score on the science placement test or successful completion of Sci 100 or a non-degree seeking student
