EDU 349 - Secondary Methods of Instruction in English

Focuses on strategies and approaches central to teaching secondary English content to 21st century learners. The goal will be to develop educators capable of meeting the diverse demands of teaching English effectively in grades 6-12. Challenges related to teaching and learning will be emphasized to facilitate improved instructional design, implementation and assessment. 5 hours of field experience required.
