DEI 101 - Becoming a JEDI: Introduction to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Students will examine many aspects of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, probing how they tie into Social Justice on a local, regional, and global scale. Then they’ll get out of the classroom, working with others in the greater community to apply what they’ve learned, demonstrating the benefits of others and themselves. Through projects exploring aspects and groups with whom they did not previously identify, they will develop cultural awareness and advocacy. This newfound knowledge will lead students to identify and practice Social Justice.
