GEY 114 - Historical Geology - History of Life3 credits The second semester of a two-semester sequence that serves as a prerequisite for upper level geology courses. The course presents historical perspective of the history of the earth, with an emphasis on the evolution of life as seen in the fossil record. An emphasis of the course is on the understanding and use of the geologic time scale. Three lecture hours per week. Prerequisite(s): GEY 112 or permission of the instructor
