CRJ 230 - Research Methods in Criminal Justice3 credits This course provides an introduction to the sociological study of crime and its attempted control. Specifically, issues such as definitions of crime, theories of crime, crime and the media, formal and informal reactions to criminal behavior, and the political economy of the US criminal justice system. Prerequisite(s): CRJ 100 , ENG 100 /ENG 101
