WST 101 - Introduction to Women’s Studies3 credits An interdisciplinary course posing critical questions of gender identity within society. The primary goal of this course is to provide historical context to the feminine place in social spheres such as family, employment, medicine, sexuality, culture, race, and law. Students will analyze issues, questions, debates, and culture, both historical and contemporary, through written assignments and class discussion. Prerequisite(s): ENG 100 with a grade of Grade C- or higher or ENG 101 or equivalent
