SWK 307 - Incest and Sexual Abuse3 credits This course provides basic knowledge about the complex dynamics of incest and sexual abuse. A historical review is presented as well as various models of understanding issues associated with sexual abuse and incest. Review of traditional response/treatment approaches and new techniques for use with sexual abuse victim population will be discussed. Course satisfies Mental Health Rehabilitation certification. Prerequisite(s): PSY 100 or SOC 100 or permission of instructor
